Last week, Cox Industrial Services removed a chill water pump that was seized. After the shop work was completed on the pump, we took all the rebuilt parts to the job site. We assembled the split case pump and tested for leaks. After connecting the coupling, the crew laser aligned the pump and motor. Alignment is critical to increase seal and bearing life.
